PURPOSE:To enable the simultaneous movement of right and left rear view mirrors by reducing the angle of horizontal adjustment in the rear view mirror far from the driver's seat at a specified ratio with respect to the angle or horizontal adjustement in the rear view mirror close thereto. CONSTITUTION:Resistances RL and RR are connected respectively between right- left switching contacts and electromagnetic clutches 11 of right and left linkage switches 8L and 8R to set the angle ratio of the angle of horizontal adjustment in right and left rear view mirrors 1L and 1R. For example, the resistances RL and RR are set at RL>RR. For an example, the ratio between them is put at RL:RR=10:9 and the speed ratio between the motor ML for driving the rear view mirror 1L far from the driver's seat and the motor MR for driving the right rear view mirror 1R close to the driver's seat is put at about 9:10. In this manner, setting of the resistance values of the resistances RL and RR different properly enables the changing angles of horizontal adjustment in the right and left rear view mirrors 1L and 1R at a specified ratio. |
