PURPOSE:To achieve random traverse angle by feeding the spindle rotary position to be transmitted from an encoder coupled to a spindle to a frequency divider then driving a traverse system while varying the frequency division ratio and varying the ratio between the thread winding speed and traverse speed. CONSTITUTION:An encoder 5 to be rotated by a motor 3 will transmit pulsating rotary position signals. They are fed to a frequency divider 7 enable of random setting of the number of pulse signals where they are frequency divided and provided to a pulse motor drive mechanism 7b to drive a pulse motor 8. Since an encoder coupled to a spool spindle will transmit a rotary position signal of spindle which is fed to a frequency divider to very the frequency division ratio easily and to drive a traverse cam by means of the output signal, the winding angle can be varied considerably. |
