The conveying device of the coating station consists of a row of freely rotatable rollers (20 - 25, 30 - 33, 40 - 45) which in the working position form a horizontal roller path for the upper frame part (9) of a frame (9, 10, 11) to be coated. These rollers press the upper frame part (9) against conveyor belts (2, 3, 4) arranged above it, which drive the frame (9, 10, 11) in the conveying direction (16). The rollers (20 - 25, 30 - 33, 40 - 45) are in each case, when the front and rear frame part (10, 11) pass through, pivoted downwards out of the conveying path out of their working position. The frame (9, 10, 11) is, hanging by the upper frame part (9), conveyed between a nozzle pair (5) which coats both side surfaces with an adhesive or sealing compound. When the frame corner at the end of the frame part (9) which has already been coated lies between the nozzle pair (5), the frame (9, 10, 11) is turned by means of a gripper pair (67, 68) in the clockwise direction about the frame corner lying between the nozzle pair (5) in such a manner that the following frame part on the frame circumference comes to lie in front of the nozzle pair (5) in the conveying direction (16) and is coated when it is conveyed further. <IMAGE>
