Compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R1 and R2 have the meaning indicated in Claim 1, and their acid addition salts are prepared by reduction of 1-methylpyridinium salts. The compounds of the formula I can be used as neuroleptics, antidepressants and soporifics (somnifacients).
