PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency when processing the peripheral surface of long cylindrical material by the use of a polishing machine, etc. with no conventional setting removal operation of long cylindrical materials by automating the process of feeding, processing, and discharging material. CONSTITUTION:With regard to a means for having long cylindrical material automatically fed, processed, discharged, by rotating by 90 deg.-turn intermittently, a pair of rotary body 2 in which the cavities 4, 4', 4'', 4''' supporting continuously the both ends 1a', 1a' of long cylindrical materials 1 are formed at 90 deg. intervals on the perimeter of a disc 2a, and by positioning these cavities in sequence, forward, upward, backward, downward, the materials 1 are supplied to supporting cavity 4 positioned at the front side one at a time. Next, when the both ends- supporting mechanism of a work machine is released, the supporting cavity 4 supports again the shaft parts 1a', 1a' of material 1, the material naturally falls directly below on a discharge-guide raila 42, 42 by the next 90 deg.-turn of rotary body 2. Thus, the working efficiency can be greatly improved. |
