PURPOSE:To make image processing easy by irradiating the radiation transmitted through a test body to an image input plate on which a thermofluorescent element is coated and storing once information. CONSTITUTION:A radiation is irradiated to a test body 3 from a radiation irradiating device 1 for X-rays, gamma-rays, etc. and the radiation transmitted through the body 3 is irradiated to an image information input plate 2. The plate 2 which is constituted by coating the crystal of a thermofluorescent element such as CaSO4, CaF2, LiF, etc. on a main base 6 consisting of plastics, etc. to form a photosensitive layer 7 is excited according to the intensity of the radiation irradiated to the thermofluorescent element and releases rays when the exciting condition is released by heating. A pickup 10 consisting of a heat ray beam generator 8 and a fluorescent photodetector 9 scans over the entire surface of the plate 2 in X and Y directions. Laser ligh is irradiated from the generator 8 to said plate to release the exciting condition and the fluorescence radiated in this stage is detected with the photodetector 9. |
