PURPOSE:To prevent end breakage resulting from yarn evenness and to enable spinning of yarn having high uniformity, by wetting a bundle of flax fiber, subjecting it to yarn separation and false twist between rollers of toothed wheel in a predraft zone and a main draft zone. CONSTITUTION:The bundle 1 of flax fiber is wetted by the water supply nozzle 2, it is subjected to yarn separation while being predrafted by the back rollers 4 and 4' and the front rollers 5 and 5' in the predraft zone 3, rewetted by the feedwater nozzle 6 of spiral flow and subjected to false twist. The yarn is mainly drafted by the back rollers 8 and 8' and the front rollers 9 and 9' in the main draft zone 7, subjected to false twist by the false twist nozzle 10, and wound as the yarn 1'. The rollers 4 and 4', and 5 and 5' in the predraft zone 3, and the rollers 8 and 8' in the main draft zone have a surface shape of toothed wheel, and each bottom roller is meshed with the top roller each other. |
