<p>PURPOSE:To improve steerability, by installing a damper unit being variable in damping force, in position between a tie rod to be displaced in both directions at steerage, while controlling the damping force in conformity with the detected value of a turning degree in a car. CONSTITUTION:A damper unit 15 being variable in damping force in installed at position between a tie rod, being displaceable in both directions by means of a steering gear unit 12 inclusive of a pinion 13 to be rotated by a steering wheel, and a setting bracket 14 at the lower part of a suspension tower 3 installed in a car body. This damper unit 15 is provided with a built-in rotary valve for damping force variable use linked up with the output shaft of a reversible type step motor 16. And, it controls the step motor 16 to turn toward a decrease of damping force in the damper unit 15 when a fact that it is in a state of being steered is so judged from the value of a turning degree detected by a turning state detection device such as a traverse G sensor detecting traverse acceleration action on the car body.</p> |
