PURPOSE:To raise the surface temperature of a floor-heating device without heating the contact face between human body and the floor-heating device by providing a switcher with which the supply of electric current to heating resistors is made on and off according to the presence or absence of the human body. CONSTITUTION:The contact of a micro switch 6 is closed usually, and floor heating is made by supplying electric current to many heating resistors. When a human body is positioned on them, the contact of the micro switch 6 in the portion touched by the human body is opened by the weight of the human body, and the supply of the current to the heating resistors 5 in the portion is stopped. Since, however, the current is supplied to the portion not touched by the human body, such an unpleasant condition that the contact face with the human body is heated up can be avoided, even when the surface temperature of the floor heater 3 is raised by a temperature regulator. The portion not touched by the human body is, however, sufficiently heated up for its surface, and therefore room temperature can be raised and sufficient heating feeling can be obtained by the radiant heat to the human body. |
