PURPOSE:To automatically turn off a turn signal lamp and allow a safety running operation of a vehicle without causing misunderstanding to a succeeding vehicle, by counting a running time of a vehicle at a speed greater than a fixed speed, and turning off the turn signal lamp. CONSTITUTION:Reference numerals 1 and 2 designate a right turn switch and a left turn switch for turning on a turn signal lamp, respectively. When the switch 1 is pushed, a contact point is closed to invert a flip-flop 3. An output from the flip-flop 3 is set to a high level. A one shot circuit 5 generates pulses in one period of a signal generated by an oscillator 19 in synchronization with rise of the flip-flop 3. An output from a latch circuit 11 is added to a NAND gate 24, and a counter 23 counts the signal generated by the oscillator 19 to measure a time elapsed in only the case that a running speed of a vehicle is greater than a fixed speed. When the running speed reaches the fixed speed, the latch circuit 11 is reset through an OR gate 17 to turn off the lamp 15. |
