PURPOSE:To improve oxidation resistance in the stage of brazing and to improve wettability and brazing strength by adding a specific amt. of Ni to a Cu-Sn brazing filler metal. CONSTITUTION:A brazing filler metal is composed, by weight %, of 20-30 Sn, 3-10 Ni and the balance Cu. The oxidation resistance in the stage of brazing is improved and the wettability and brazing strength are improved by adding Ni to the Cu-Sn brazing filler metal. The carburizing treatment is accomplished simultaneously with brazing by processing at the carburizing temp. |
