PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized, lightweight device of simple constitution by providing a transfer fixing roller opposite to a drum type photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The transfer fixing roller 18 is provided opposite to the drum type photosensitive body 2 in parallel. The roller 18 is driven with a main switch to turn on counterclockwise. A heater 19 is incorporated in the roller 18. A transfer material 10 is carried in between the photosensitive body 2 and roller 18 by paper feed rollers 11 and 12. A visible image is fixed thermally on the transfer material 10 by the heat of the roller 18 which is heated by the heater 19. Thus, both transfer and fixation are attained, and the surface temperature of the roller 18 is set preferably to about 115+ or -5 deg.C so as to prevent the deterioration of the photosensitive body 2 due to the heat of the roller 18.
