The sport device of the roller ski type comprises a stepping plate (9) of which the length and the width correspond approximately to a cross-country ski binding (10, 11). The plate carries a running device (1, 1') on each of its longitunal sides. Said running device has an outer ring (2) intended to run on the ground and to rotate with respect to an inner ring (4) secured to the plate (9). A back motion stopping mechanism acts on each of the rolling devices (1, 1'). It is arranged sideways outside the rolling device and comprises a braking plate (7) which extends at least on the periphery of the wheel above the plate. It carries a brake lining (8) of the scale type of which the front face is facing the rotary outer ring (2). This brake lining (8) cooperates with a corresponding brake lining (6) carried by the front face of the outer ring (2). Thereby, the sport device of the roller ski type may be used on any sort of ground for simulating cross-country skiing. |
