PURPOSE:To prevent a runaway of a data processor without deteriorating the economical performance and reliability by storing an instruction which resets the operation to the processing to decide whether a key switch is operated or to the reset processing of the user data into an unused area of a memory. CONSTITUTION:An ROM2 includes a program area 21 where the sequential action of a CPU1 is written and an unused area 22. The instructions to reset the operations to the key switch-on (?) processing to all addresses of the area 22. Thus a data processor is reset to the processing which judges an ON state of the key switch in case the area 22 is designated owing to an abnormal phenomenon. Hereafter the processor performs the sequential actions of steps following above-mentioned process. In this case, the key switch means an ignition switch of a gasoline car or a starter switch of a diesel car. |
