PURPOSE:To prevent a roller from wearing reliably, by a method wherein a hole to be obtained by pouring a lubricant into a wedgy space wherein the roller is arranged is communicated with the wedgy space through centrifugal force at the time when a starter is being revolved and the hole is clogged at the time of suspension of the starter. CONSTITUTION:A clutch inner 3 is provided with a through hole 3a in a diametral direction and the through hole 3a is opened within a wedgy space 8 wherein a roller 2 is arranged. A grease sump 4b is provided within a crankshaft 4 and a through hole 4a is provided on an external circumference of the grease sump 4b in a diameteral direction. A lubricant from the lubricant sump 4b is poured into the wedgy space 8 through centrifugal force at the time when a starter is being revolved and the through hole 3a is clogged through a contact sliding part 4c at the time of suspension of the starter. With this construction, the lubricant can be stored within the wedgy space 8 without deteriorating the function of the clutch. Wear, therefore, of a roller 2 can be prevented reliably. |
