The invention was based on the object of providing a mirror with a decorative print, which is economical in the production of small numbers, flexible in terms of choosing the motif and in following trends and fashions and is economical in terms of producing mirrors of large sizes (several cubic metres). This object is achieved in that a motif is printed in one or more colours on a flat pane of glass, said pane of glass is fixed by means of a frame or clips to the front of a board or other backing material (metal or plastic) which is coated with a mirror foil. It is thus achieved that the production is economical in small numbers, that the flexibility is guaranteed in terms of choosing the motif and following fashions and trends, in that the production of mirrors with decorative print remains economical in sizes of several cubic metres, and that double reflection and destruction of the print are avoided.
