APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING AND WELDING FRAMEWORK OF DOUBLE STRUCTURES

PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency and assembling accuracy and to improve working environment by performing frame assemblage and welding of double structures in which plural girders and floors cross each other by means of a series of devices without the aid of manual labor. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for assembling and welding frames is provided with a longitudinal-girder carriage 4 which can position the longitudinal direction L of floors 2 onto a surface plate 3 on rails 5. Girder cross units 9 are provided to plural cross-girder carriages 9 movable in a cross direction along the rails 7 provided on the carriage 4. Frame members 10 are respectively provided to the four corners thereof. Cross pointers 11 holding the assembling positions of girders 1 and floors 2 and four floor guide rollers 13 are provided at the crossed parts of said girders 1 and floors 2 inside the members 10. Four welding torches are provided vertically movably along the respective members 10 to each unit 9. Simultaneous welding from four ways is thus made possible by positioning the girders 1 and the floors 2 and holding down the crossed parts.
