PURPOSE:To require no controlling program, and to shorten an execution time by switching to the other memory, when a subroutine call or return instruction has got on a system bus while executing one memory program. CONSTITUTION:A main memory 37 and an auxiliary memory 38 have the same address, and when a subroutine call instruction or a return instruction gets on a system bus 39 while executing one memory program, a subroutine instruction decoder 32 recognizes it. By receiving an output of the decoder 32, a nesting counter 33 executes the increment or decrement of counting, and by receiving its signal, it is brough to byte processing by a byte processing counter 34, and by AND35 of this signal and a signal of the nesting counter 33, a switching signal is sent out. By this switching signal, a switching device 36 switches the main memory 37 and the auxiliary memory 38. |
