PURPOSE:To make a work polishable in an efficient manner, by setting up a guide member having a circular guide surface in the opposite side to a line connecting a rotation center of two rotary polishing wheels with each other, while shifting it retractably to these rotary polishing wheels. CONSTITUTION:At the same time that two rotary polishing wheels 2, 3 and each of feed, intermediate and delivery rollers 7-9 are all rotated, a beltlike steel plate work 15 is drawn out of a guide cylinder 32, passing through an interval between a circumference 16 of the polishing wheel 2 and a circular guide surface 17 as well as an interval between a guide cylinder 33, the intermediate roller 8, another circumference 16 of the polishing wheels 3 and the circular guide surface 17 of a guide member 5 in S-shaped form, and delivered outside by way of a guide cylinder 34, the delivery roller 9 and a guide cylinder 35. At this time, a portion of the work 15 between the polishing wheel circumference 16 and the guide surface 17 is pushed under pressure whereby a wide polishing range is thus polished. Therefore, there is no need to make the rotation of both polishing wheels 2 and 3 into being extremely speeded up in order to improve its efficiency so that polishing is preformable in a safe and efficient manner. |
