PURPOSE:To feed optimal liquidized gas to the entire engine operating region, by splitting Venturi for liquidized mixture gas into two while opening/closing one of them through a negative pressure piston having needle valve. CONSTITUTION:The Venturi section for liquidized mixture gas is splitted into main Venturi 4 and sub-Venturi 5 while a negative pressure operating piston 17 having a needle valve 21 is provided at the end of sub-Venturi 5. Under idling, the throttle valve 3 is closed and the interlocked needle valve 12 will restrict the jet 11 while the air flow in main Venturi 4 is low to reduce the negative pressure at the port 20 and the piston 17 will close sub-Venturi 5 through a spring 19. Consequently, the air flow speed in main Venturi 4 is high to improve mixing of liquidized gas fed through a nozzle 9. The negative pressure at the port 20 will increase as the throttle valve 3 opens and the piston 17 will open sub-Venturi 5 while the needle valve 21 will add the optimal fuel. |
