PURPOSE:To speed up adjustment service by selecting a unused printer from two sets of gate circuits and inputting the output of a bar code reader, and counting it up and printing the counted value. CONSTITUTION:A checker L inputs the name and quantity of articles purchased by a customer A through the bar code reader 2. Those data are inputted to a control part 1, and a unit-price and the article name are read out of a table to be displayed 5, and also sent to a printer 6 or 7 through a gate part 13 or 18 in an open state. A cashier M performs transaction adjustment with the customer A on the basis of output information on the display part 5 and printer 6 or 7. While the customer A is in transaction at a position (g), the checker L reads purchase information on the next customer B through the bar code reader 2, and an unused printer is selected through the gates 13 and 18 by the control part 11 to input the information; and the cashier M enter transaction adjustment successively. Thus, a wait time is shortened and the operation rate of the device is improved. |
