PURPOSE:To eliminate dislodging materials which damage a disc and to enable realization of adequate contact by deflecting a sheet body consisting of a plastic to a hollow shape, fixing both ends to a base plate and using the surface of the sheet as a pressing surface to the disc. CONSTITUTION:A pad 10 is constituted by deflecting a sheet body 11 consisting of a plastic such as polytetrafluoroethylene or the like to a hollow shape and fixing both ends 12, 12 to a base plate 14 by means of screws 15. The surface of the body 11 is used as a pressing surface 16 to a floppy disc 2. The dislodging material from felt which damages the disc 2 is thus eliminated and the adequate contact of the disc 2 with a magnetic head 1 is made possible by the plastic having excellent lubricity and moderate flexibility. |
