<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the waiting time for a periodical check and to improve the workability with a computer by providing an operation box in addition to a computer for control of production facilities in order to perform a single operation of terminal devices. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply of a computer 2 is switched off due to a periodical check, a fault, etc., an action command given from an operation board 31 is not transmitted to a serial signal transmission unit STU and serial signal transmission connectors STC3 and 7. Therefore the relays within the STU and STC7 are not actuated. Thus the solenoid valve in a bubble stand 11 is not excited and therefore all facilities are in pause. In such a case, the double core signal cable terminal of a local operation box LOB32 is swtiched with a double core cable 5 led from an electric room at an input terminal part P of the STC7. Then the double core cable of the LOB32 is led up to a terminal device and connected to the power supply. The signal sent from the LOB32 is supplied to the input part of the STC7.</p> |
