The cooler consists of: a sealed cooling loop with an air-cooled condenser filled with Freon; a copper tube evaporator with aluminium fins; a centrifugal fan with a capacity of 500 litres per hour; an electronic thermostat; an 'antifreeze' thermostat to prevent freezing-up in fault conditions; the heat exchanger in the analyser instrument and a 0.25 H.P. compressor. - The system provides cooling power of 300 W over the range from 10 deg.C to 15 deg.C. The electrical mains input is connected, via a two-pole switch, to a mains indicator lamp in parallel with the evaporator thermostat and with a series circuit containing the electronic thermostat, the compressor and the anti-freeze thermostat.(0/3)
