PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. for cleaning resist ink, which has excellent cleaning effect, etc., by blending an alcohol selected from among ethanol, propanol, butanol, 2-methoxyethanol, etc.with 1,1,1-trichloroethane. CONSTITUTION:3-10wt% at least one alcohol selected from among ethanol, iso-propanol, n-propanol, iso-butanol, n-butanol and 2-methoxyethanol is incorporated in 1,1,1-trichloroethane to obtain the desired compsn. for cleaning resist ink. This compsn. can easily and effectiviely clean and remove etching resist ink and solder resist ink used in the production of printed boards as well as marking ink used for finally printing characters or designs on the boards, and is nonflammable.
