A conducting disc 7, placed between a piezoelectric disc 8 and an insulating washer 6 covering a seating 1, forms one electrode of the piezoelectric disc 8. Its second electrode is formed by the seismic mass 9. Each of the two electrodes 7, 9 is connected through a connector to an electric lead 13 for the transmission of signals detected by the accelerometer. The connector consists of a terminal block 23, 25, 26, 28 housed in an insulating sleeve 14 surrounding the seismic mass 9 and of a contact member 30, 31 bearing elastically against the corresponding electrode with a more or less constant pressure. The member 30 in contact with the seismic mass 9 is also mounted so that it slides against the mass. Usable for connecting piezoelectric accelerometers to the electric circuits of automobiles. <IMAGE>
