To produce exact contour-flushness between a fuse body and at least one contact ring embedded in it, especially by using the injection-moulding method, a contact ring, the contour of which corresponds to the inner face of the top part of the injection mould, is introduced in the correct position, so that the injection-moulding material of the fuse body can be injected between the mould top part and mould core. This cost-effective process is characterised by a very high reproducibility in respect of the contour-flushness between the fuse body and the contact ring embedded in it and also meets the high requirements of thermal and mechanical loading capacity of the contact ring embedded in the fuse body.
