PURPOSE:To reduce luster of a recording surface and obtain high printing quality, by a method wherein the recording surface of a recording paper is reheated after heat transfer recording, whereby an ink on the recording surface is made to permeate into the recording paper, and the recording surface is made to be a roughened surface on an optical basis. CONSTITUTION:The recording surface is heated by a thermal head 1, the ink of an ink sheet 3 is melted and is transferred onto the surface of the recording paper 4, thereby recording. The recording paper 4 passed through a thermal transfer recording part is moved along a guide plate 5. When the recording surface of the paper 4 is passed through a heater 6, the surface is reheated, so that the ink thermally transferred onto the surface of the paper 4 permeates into the paper 4, and the recording surface is roughened on an optical basis. Accordingly, the luster of the recording surface is reduced, and the surface is matted. |
