PURPOSE:To prevent color from becoming unclear and lowering in saturation by imagewise exposing a silver halide photographic sensitive material and color developing it in the presence of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent, an N,N-dialkylhydroxylamine derivative, and a 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidone derivative. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material has on a support a silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one of cyan couplers represented by formulae I and II in which R1 is 2-6C alkyl; R2 is a ballasting group; R3 is H, halogen, alkoxy, or the like; R4 is alkyl or aryl; R5 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or the like; and Z and Z' are same as each other. This photosen sitive material is imagewise exposed and color developed in the presence of the aromatic primary amine color developing agent, the N,N-dial kylhydroxylamine derivative, and the 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidone derivative. |
