The present invention relates to a mechanised leg prosthesis for amputees which comprises a knee joint unit 100 formed of at least one front small rod 110 and a rear small rod 130 connecting a support part 150 and an upright 10, an ankle joint unit 50 mounted pivotally on the upright and a return rod 200 articulated on the one hand on the rear small rod 130, and on the other hand on the ankle joint unit 50 so as to cause lifting of the front of the foot 300 during bending of the knee joint unit 100. <IMAGE>
