摘要 <p>Sepn. of soluble magnesium from wet process superphosphoric acid contg. 62-72 wt.% P2O5 (10-45% of which is in polyphosphate form) and 0.5-3.0 wt.% MgO comprises (i) ageing the acid at 85-180 deg.C for 4-180 hrs. with intermittent agitation of 0.4-50% of the ageing time, followed by (ii) filtering the aged acid at 85-180 deg.C. - Pref. the acid contains 25-35% of the P2O5 in polyphosphate form, and the ageing is effected at 105-140 deg.C for 8-36 hrs. with agitation of 0.4-6% of the ageing time. - By effecting ageing with a relatively low amt. of intermittent agitation rather than with continuous agitation, the Mg is pptd. in the form of crystal agglomerates of MgH2P2O7 which are easily sepd. by filtration. (0/1) GBAB- GB2141118 B A process for the separation of soluble magnesium from wet process superphosphoric acid containing (1) from 62 to 72 percent, by weight, P2O5 with from 10 to 45 percent of the P2O5 in polyphosphate form and (2) from 0.5 to 3.0 percent, by weight, MgO which comprises ageing the acid for from 4 to 180 hours at a temperature of from 85 to 180 deg.C at atmospheric pressure with intermittent agitation as hereinbefore defined, followed by filtering the aged superphosphoric acid at a temperature of from 85 to 180 deg.C.</p>
