PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight, thin twin cassette tape recorder by arranging cassette tapes on both front and rear surfaces of a device, and allowing recording and reproduction, and dubbing simultaneously and further reducing electric and mechanical noises of a motor. CONSTITUTION:The motor 3 is fitted to the chassis 1 of a cassette tape recorder I to drive the mechanism part 6 of the chassis 2 of a facing cassette tape recorder II. Further, a motor 4 is fitted to the chassis 2 of the tape recorder IIto drive the mechanism part 5 of the facing chassis 1. Thus, the motors 3 and 4 are surrounded with bent parts 9'X4 and 2'X4 of the chassis surrounding the mechanism parts 6 and 5 to cut off electromagnetic wave noises of the motors, reducing electric noise in recording. Further, mechanical noise due to rotation are also reduced similarly. Thus, the lightweight, thin twin cassette tape recorder is constituted. |
