The subject of the application is a device for regulating the working position of a harvester, such as the cutting and drawing-in unit of a combine harvester, in which the pick-up appliance has an actuating drive with an electrical control which comprises a command switch for raising and lowering the pick-up appliance and a regulating arrangement which can be cut in and cut out and which has a sensing device, connected to the pick-up appliance and detecting the actual value of its working position, and a desired-value setting device for the working position. A device of the relevant generic type is to be improved in that the command switch for raising and lowering the pick-up appliance serves at the same time as an on/off switch of the regulating arrangement. For this, the regulating arrangement is combined with a bistable switch which is so set and reset by the command switch that the regulating arrangement is cut in by its lowering signal and the regulating arrangement is cut out by its raising signal.
