PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of crippling phenomenon by detecting a crippling signal between two sector gears and using this signal to control field currents of four driving motors so that they cross armature currents. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second crippling signal detecting circuits 13A and 13B provided for reducing crippling phenomena between sector gears 3A and 3B on the basis of the output of a speed generator 9 of each driving motor 2 are a control circuit which controls field currents of driving motors 2 A-1 and B-2 and driving motors 2 A-2 and B-1 by said crippling signal and field current command values 11A and 11B. Consequently, armature windings 7 are controlled by a pair of driving motors 2 A-1 and A-2 and a pair of driving motors 2 B-1 and B-2, and field windings 8 are controlled by the crossing combination of a pair of driving motors 2 A-1 and B-2 and a pair of driving motors 2 A-2 and B-1, and thus, a control force which cancels crippling components is generated. |
