PURPOSE:To correct effectively snaking of a high-pressure belt which presses upper and lower belts to a high-pressure roll by providing a regulating roll for correcting snaking to the high-pressure belt, and correcting the roll by a vertically arrayed double-acting hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A regulating roll RR for correcting snaking is provided to a high-pressure belt BH which presses upper and lower belts for dehydration of sludge to a high-pressure roll. One end of a vertically arrayed double-acting hydraulic cylinder 1 fixed coaxially with two double-acting hydraulic cylinders which have two ports, are closed at one end and are projected with a piston rod 2 or 2' at the other end. The other end of said cylinder is fixed to a perpendicular column 3. When the belt BH snakes to the right side, said movement is detected by a limit switch and the cylinder 1 is extend to correct the snaking. When the belt snakes to the left side, the cylinder 1 is stretched or contracted to correct the snaking. The service lifetime of the belt BH is thus increased. |
