PURPOSE:To obtain the titled product that will be suitably used as a filtering material or the like good in filtering accuracy and efficiency for collecting material to be caught, or will be suitable to be impregnated with ink or the like, by softening a molded item comprising a continuous porous body, and changing the pressure and the degree of compression onto the surface part of the porous body that will be located at the outflow side when the obtained product is used and a fluid is flowed. CONSTITUTION:A molded item 3 comprising a continuous porous body wherein thermoplastic particles are bonded is placed for example in a female mold 1 having an angular depression, and is heated in a heating furnace to be softened, and the upper surface of the continuous porous body 3 is pressed by the weight of a male mold 2 inserted in the female mold 1 to be compressed so that the pore diameter of the pressed and compressed surface part is made smaller than the other part thereby producing the intended item with the pore diameter gradient from the pressed and compressed surface part to the other part. |
