The invention relates to a grip fitting, especially for motor-vehicle doors, with a grip handle which is mounted in an articulated manner and extends in front of the door outer surface and which is articulated at one end on a hinge block to be fastened to the door outer wall and the other end of which extends into the region of a fastening block screwed near the door rebate; the grip handle is the only connecting bridge between the hinge block and the fastening block; particularly for the relief of relatively high tilting moments and for a durable design, the invention proposes that the end of the grip handle (3) located on the same side as the door rebate be coupled to an actuating lever (28) which is mounted in the fastening block (22) and which, in the end region of the outward pivoting movement of the grip handle (3), assumes a stop position blocking the further outward movement. <IMAGE>
