HANDLING EQUIPMENT FOR RIVER VESSELS' OUTER PLATING CLEANING

The manipulator is designed for automation of cleaning of outer skin of sides and bottom of river craft in a dock. It consists of a frame (4) moveably arranged on rails (3) under the craft (1), on which there is a vertical guide (5). The vertical guide (5) is in its longitudinal axis equipped in its left and right part with a telescopic frame (29, 16) with a travel (30, 18), to which a foldable arm (6) is rotationally attached, followed by a tiltable arm (7) with an inserted hinging arm (8) and a technological head (15) clamped in a holder (27). The cleaning of the central part of the river craft (1) outer skin is performed by means of the technological head (15) mounted on a central foldable arm (9) rotationally attached on a central travel (21). Each travel (30, 18, 21) is equipped with its own drive with a chain or a rack and pinions.<IMAGE>
