PURPOSE:To prevent the continuous generation of abnormal sound by setting lines connecting the forward and backward end surfaces of a pair of pads with each other not parallel to a line connecting both open end peripheral edges of a through hole. CONSTITUTION:A line X1 connecting the forward and backward end surfaces of a pair of pads 3a, 3b is not parallel to a line connecting an open end of a through hole 1a of a disc 1, that is, an edge extension line X2. In this arrangement, both open ends of the through hole 1a are not blocked up or opened simultaneously. Accordingly, the generation of abnormal sound at the operation of a brake can be prevented. |
