PURPOSE:To manufacture an Al base bearing alloy excellent in fatigue resistance and seizing resistance by preparing an Al base allay contg. specified ratios of Sn, Pb, Cu, Sb, Ti and B. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum base bearing allay having a compsn. constituted of, by weight, 3 to 40% Sn, 0.1 to 10% Pb, 0.1 to 5% Cu and 0.1 to 3% Sn and in which total 0.05 to 1% Ti and B satisfying the formula: B/(Ti+B)=0.1 to 0.35% are coexistent and the balance substantial Al and excellent in fatigue resistance and seizing resistance is prepd. Furthermore, 0.1 to 5% Si and/or total 0.01 to 3% of one or >= two kinds among Mg, Ni, V, Mn, Zr, Cr and Fe may be added to the above allay. |
