The liquid detergent and cleaner contains (a) a disalt of an a-sulphonated fatty acid of the general formula: <IMAGE> in which: R is an alkyl or alkenyl group with 8-16 carbon atoms and M and M% are independently of one another, a cation which is capable of forming a water-soluble salt and is composed of magnesium or an optionally substituted ammonium group, and (b) a salt of an a-olefinesulphonic acid with 12-18 carbon atoms with an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal and/or optionally substituted ammonium cation, where the ratio of component (a) to component (b) is in the range from 19:1 to 1:1 by weight. The detergent and cleaner has good cleaning properties, i.e. cleaning and foaming power and leaves no noticeable odour on the hands, the skin or the laundry. |
