PURPOSE:To perform safety running in a smooth manner, by outputting a value adding or subtracting the specified value to or from the last accelerator value according to a state of engine driving, in time of judging a fact that output voltage of an accelerator pedal sensor is out of the specified voltage range and trouble happens. CONSTITUTION:A sliding contact 12 of an accelerator pedal sensor (AP) 1 is made possible to be free of rotation, for example, to the extent of 0-60 deg., and AP output voltage is set down to 0-3V or 0-60 deg. in an AP turning angle. An AP setting reference turning angle or actual working angle is set to, for example, a range of 14-46 deg.. In this case, an accelerator idling switch (ISA) 4a is turned to ON in time of idling and made so as to be turned to ON and OFF at 5-20 deg. in the AP turning angle but OFF at 20-50 deg.. On the other hand, an accelerator wide open switch (WSA) 4b is turned to ON in time of its maximum pedaling and made so as to be OFF at 5-37 deg.. And, trouble judgment takes place with a voltage signal commensurate to below 3 deg. and above 55 deg.. Then, in time of trouble judgment, a value given by adding or subtracting the specified value to or from the last accelerator value is generated as the accelerator value. |
