Solar collector with an orientable panel 4, comprising a panel support 2 which can pivot about the vertical axis 3 of a fixed base under the effect of a motor, which enables the panel to tilt about a horizontal axis 5 under the effect of another motor; means being provided to control the starting and stopping of each motor, which collector is characterised in that the support 2 comprises a vertical frame 13 to 16 designed in such a way that, in the safety position, the panel 4 can be tilted along the said frame 13 to 16 which strengthens it, the safety conditions being determined by an apparatus which detects the strength of the wind and its direction and capable of interrupting, beyond a specified threshold, the normal orientation commands in order to apply the panel 4 against the vertical frame 13 to 16 of the support 2, and to orient the assembly formed by the panel and frame in the direction of the wind. <IMAGE> |
