The installation is for the edge sealing of insulating glazing units and has a charging station, frame laying station, assembling station and sealing station for the simultaneous edge sealing of two insulating glazing units. At least the conveying devices of the charging station, frame laying station and also the positioning and assembling station are in each case divided into two conveyors arranged one behind the other in the charging direction, so that with a given length of pane, two insulating glass panes or insulating glazing units can be transported and manipulated. This results in increased capacity utilisation in a sealing installation of which the stations and conveying devices are designed for a maximum length of pane. <IMAGE>
