<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a picture from disturbance at the joint of picture recording by recording a picture at an azimuth angle different from that of a control signal by a Q-head embedded in a prescribed position of a fixed cylinder and restarting the recording from a position reproducing and detecting the picture by the Q-head. CONSTITUTION:A recording/reproducing cylinder 21 consists of a rotary cylinder 30 and the fixed cylinder 31 and the Q-head 35 is embedded in the magnetic tape winding start position of the cylinder 31. If a pause botton is depressed when the Q-head 35 is located on an X1 position during picture recording at the time of joint recording, a Q-signal 45 is recorded on the X1 position of a CTL track 43 at an azimuth angle different from that of a CTL signal 44. If the pause button is released when the magnetic tape 13 reaches an X2 position, the magnetic tape 13 is rewound and returned to the X1 position. When the Q-head reproduces and detects the Q-signal 45, the magnetic tape 13 starts to travel in the arrow A direction again to restart the recording. Therefore, the picture is prevented from disturbance at the joint of the picture recording.</p> |
