The tool-holding device possesses a body element, especially a drill rod, for fitting a cutting tip. A fastening element fixes the cutting tip releasably to the drill rod. A seat-face recess is formed between the drill rod and the fastening element and receives cutting tips of different shapes. The seat-face recess possesses an arrangement portion for each shape of cutting tip, each arrangement portion having at least two engagement regions for bearing contact by the corresponding cutting tip for the positive arrangement of this cutting tip within the seat-face recess. The engagement regions can be provided by the fastening element, by the drill rod or by a combination of the two. |
