摘要 PURPOSE:To make adjustment to an injection quantity controlling lever ever so easy, by connecting the injection quantity controlling lever of a fuel injection valve to be installed in each cylinder, to a control rod being locked by a jig as making it a position for the injection quantity regulating state, in time of assembling a multicylinder engine. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel injection valve (unit injector) 8 is set to a row-cylinder internal-combustion engine 2 in an outboard motor for a small ship, each fuel injection quantity controlling lever 45 of injection valves 8 is connected to a control rod 11 in a maximum state of injection quantity by means of set screws 47. At this time, as a jig to prevent the rod 11 from tottering in both axial and circumferential directions, a clamping screw 49, which lockes the control rod 11 to a setting block 43 in the maximum state of fuel quantity, is installed. And, in the state that the rod 11 is locked to the setting block 43, the said lever 45 is set to a maximum injection quantity position and then these set screws 47 being displaceable along each long slit 48 are clamped tight, thus coupling of these levers 45 to the rod 11 takes place.
