PURPOSE:To automatically keep the output power of a windmill, by setting that the turn angle of auxiliary vanes is controlled depending on the revolution speed of the windmill. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary vanes 7 are attached to the tips of the blades 1 of a windmill. The longitudinal direction of each auxiliary vane 7 is almost parallel with the axis of gyration of the blades 1. The auxiliary vane 7 is rotatable as a whole around an axis nearly parallel with the longitudinal direction of the vane. One end of a spring unit 6 with a damper is anchored to the vane between a rotary shaft 12 and the rear edge of the vane, and the other end is coupled to a point 14 of the inside of the blade 1. |
