PURPOSE:To obtain simply a composite color television signal with excellent color balance by forming a color correcting signal based on a luminance signal and a chrominance subcarrier signal extracted respectively from a composite color television signal. CONSTITUTION:A composite color television signal with unbalanced color is separated into a luminance signal and a chrominance carrier signal at a Y/C separation circuit 1. On the other hand, a generator 4 forms a chrominance subcarrier signal from a color burst signal. Further, the separated luminance signal is formed into two luminance signal components having an optional level and polarity by a joy-stick circuit 5. The luminance signal component is formed into two color correcting signals while being balancing-modulated by the chrominance subcarrier signal. Then the two color correcting signals are given to a mixing circuit 10 to mix to an output of the Y/C separation circuit 1. The composite color television signal with excellent color balance is obtained simply in this way. |
