In the drive circuit of a brushless DC motor, the rise time of current flowing through an armature coil of the motor and the fall time are controlled in dependence on the load of the motor, in order to reduce generation of electromagnetic noise in the coil. The arrangement includes a transistor Q4 for energizing the coil, and an integrating circuit formed by a capacitor and a resistor for integrating the rising edge of the rectangular wave. The drive circuit also includes a circuit for integrating the falling edge of the rectangular wave.
